Artist Statement

 

 

My love for art and creativity in general has been with me as far back as I can remember. 

My favourite artist tool is the palette knife. It gives me a great sense of freedom on the canvas and lends itself perfectly to the abstract skies and waterways in my paintings.

My cityscape series is inspired by the great cities around the world and the feelings they project. The first painting in this series is of course, my home town of Liverpool with the majestic Liver birds watching over the city and sea.
